The CapChat™ Challenge

Stump us. Win $250.

Bring your toughest event question. We answer it live, layering your data with the show's, the floor's and ours. If we can't deliver, you get $250. Either way, the analysis is yours to keep.

$250

if we can't answer your question.

Name your Stump Question. We agree it's fair before we start, then it's locked. If we can't answer it with real data, the $250 is yours, as a gift card or a donation to the charity you name.

We're willing to put real money on this because we rarely expect to pay it. That's the point.

What most event reports miss

Your scans are half the story. We bring the other half.

Most event reporting stops at what your badge scanner saw. CapChat™ joins six kinds of data into one answer, and three of those layers are ours before you bring anything at all.

6

kinds of data exist for every show you run

1

is all most event reports ever look at

We bring these every time
LAYER 01

Public show and market data

Exhibitor lists, floor plans, agendas and speaker lineups, company firmographics, public filings and funding news, industry attendance reports, public provider registries.

LAYER 02

Captello benchmarks and know-how

Anonymized, aggregated norms from across the platform: capture-mode mix, lead volume by show size, typical follow-up speed, data-quality trends by region, built on 10+ years of running events.

LAYER 03

The Captello Enrichment Network

125+ data providers across five enrichment layers, adding titles, firmographics, intent and ICP fit on top of a name, plus registration, badge, venue and organizer partners.

CapChat™

Joins every layer. Checks every number against the live records. Answers in plain language.

One complete picture
Add any of these to make it yours
LAYER 04

Your data, in any form

A lead export from any platform, a spreadsheet of contacts, a target-account list, an event budget, a CRM report, or your Captello account if you have one.

LAYER 05

Registration and attendance

Registration lists and ticket types, badge check-ins by hour, session check-ins, attendee app activity and agenda bookmarks, from you or your show organizer.

LAYER 06

Sensors on the floor

Booth cameras and people counters, dwell-time measurement, BLE beacons and smart badges, Wi-Fi presence, session door scanners, kiosk and photo-booth logs.

Two guardrails. Benchmarks are always aggregated and anonymized, so no customer is ever identifiable. Sensor and presence data is read at the zone and crowd level, never to track a named person.

What layering looks like

The answer nobody could see from one data source.

These are the kinds of views a live session produces, drawn from your data and ours side by side.

Test with your own data, live

Bring whatever you have. Even nothing.

Pick a level. More data means a sharper answer, never a requirement. And it doesn't have to be identifiable: anonymized exports, hashed IDs and aggregate counts all work.

LEVEL 01

Just the show name

Tell us which events you attend and what you want to know. We answer from public data, our benchmarks and our partner network.

Answers “Who will be in the room?” and “Is this show worth it?”
LEVEL 02

A file or two

A lead export, a registration list, a target-account list or an event budget. From any platform, in any format. Anonymized is fine.

Unlocks your own results and your follow-up gaps
LEVEL 03

Your Captello account

Every scan, meeting, game and app tap you have already captured, answered live against your own records.

Your full event history, questioned in plain language
LEVEL 04

Sensor or organizer data

Dwell time, floor traffic, session attendance and check-ins from your measurement or registration partners. We map the export.

The whole journey, door to booth to CRM

On security. Anonymized or de-identified data answers nearly every question we get asked, so there's no need to hand over anything sensitive. Captello is SOC 2 Type II certified, ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. Nothing you bring is used outside your session.

One show, told three ways

What the complete picture actually looks like.

The same event, answered at three moments, each one layering a different combination of data.

Before the doors open

Who will be in the room?

The published exhibitor list and agenda, enriched by our partner network and scored against your ICP, shows which of your target accounts will be on the floor, and which competitors are chasing them.

On the floor

Were we staffed for the rush?

Your lead export laid over registration check-ins and the organizer's door counters shows exactly when traffic peaked, and whether your reps were capturing at the same hour.

After the show

What did we leave on the table?

Measured against platform benchmarks, your leads are missing titles at a higher rate than the norm, and a share of the ICP accounts in the room were never scanned at all. Enrichment recovers most of the titles on the spot.

Findings from a live CapChat™ session with a global medical device leader. Figures rounded.

How it works

Three steps. No prep deck.

Name your show and your question

One short form: your role, the shows you attend, and up to three questions. Nominate one as your Stump Question.

Bring whatever you have

Optional. A file, an account, a sensor export, or nothing at all. Pick any level above. Anonymized data is welcome.

Watch us answer live, in 30 minutes

We ask CapChat™ your questions in plain language, show the charts, and you leave with a one-page findings brief, and the $250 if you stumped us.

The $250 Stump Guarantee
$250

We're putting it on the line because we're that confident.

Name the question you want to put us on the hook for. If CapChat™ can't answer it, you get $250, as a gift card or a donation to a charity you name. The session itself costs you nothing either way.

01

You submit up to three questions and name one as your Stump Question.

02

At the start of the session we confirm it's in scope, or help you reword it. Once we both agree, it's locked.

03

We get the live session plus 48 hours of overtime to deliver the answer in writing.

04

If we can't answer it with real data, you're paid. No debate after the fact.

In scope

  • Questions about your events, audiences, booth, reps, sessions, sponsors or results
  • Anything answerable from data that exists in any of the six layers
  • Questions about shows you attend, even if you've never used Captello

Out of scope

  • Predictions with no data behind them (“what will we close in 2029?”)
  • Personal details about named individuals
  • Another company's confidential data
  • Anything not about your events
Take the Challenge

Think your data can stump us?

Tell us about your events and name your Stump Question. We'll schedule your live session and confirm scope before we start.

The fine print

  • Questions must relate to your events and be answerable from data in one or more of the six layers described above. Scope is agreed at the start of the session and locked once both sides agree.
  • One $250 payout per company for the whole program, and one session per company. Business email and a completed 30-minute live session required. Payout within 30 days as a gift card redeemable at a selection of 250+ brands, or as a charity donation.
  • Where gifts are restricted, including for government employees and healthcare professionals under applicable gift and transparency rules, the payout is a charity donation only, or void where prohibited.
  • Captello may cap total payouts per quarter and may modify or end the Challenge at any time. Stump Questions already locked are honored.
  • Questions and answers may be shared anonymously only with the participant's opt-in.
