The best data on the market

Event Lead Enrichment

Where it comes from. How it is verified. How it is protected. Billions of data points across 125+ sources, five enrichment layers, and AI agents turn a name and an email into a complete, routable profile in real time, then carry that record all the way to attributed revenue.

The problem

A name and an email isn't a lead. It's a guess.

Thin event records stall the moment they hit your CRM. Reps chase names they don't understand, the best booth conversation of the show goes cold, and a lead you paid to capture never becomes pipeline.

The engine

The Captello Proprietary 5-Layer Enrichment Engine.

Enrichment runs in sequence. Every record starts with the data already in hand and passes through all five layers in order, and each layer adds to what the one before it returned. Nothing is skipped. The record that reaches your CRM carries everything the full sequence could find.

1

Your event and CRM data

Start with what the badge or form already gave you, matched to a record you may already own.

2

Your CRM and marketing automation

Fold in role, seniority, and history from the systems your team already runs.

3

Licensed data partners

Verified contact details from partners like ZoomInfo and Apollo.io, called in sequence.

4

5

Captello AI Agents

Real-time verification

Verified in real time.

Appending data fast is the easy part. Captello verifies it at the point of capture, before the record ever reaches your CRM, and it does not depend on the venue's Wi-Fi.

At capture

Real-time verification

The record is enriched, verified, scored, graded, and routed while the conversation is still happening. Your rep scans and keeps talking.

Offline

Capture never stops

When the hall network drops, capture continues on the device and syncs the moment connectivity returns. Nothing queues up lost.

On-device

No round trip

Conversation Intelligence runs on the phone itself, so the conversation is processed without waiting on a server to answer.

A quoted response time measures a round trip to somebody else's cloud. On a show floor, that round trip is the one variable nobody controls. Captello is built so the slowest part of the conversation is never the network.

2024Shipped, not announced

We have been doing this since before it was a category

Captello announced IntelliScan™ on July 17, 2024: badge scanning that returns enriched data from a basic name badge, with no QR codes and no costly API kits. Real-time enrichment at the point of capture has been shipping in this platform for years, and the public record is dated. Read the announcement →

What it does

A full profile from the point of capture.

The instant a badge is scanned or a form is filled, Captello turns a name and an email into a complete customer profile: verified contact details, company data, discussion context, and buying signals. Enrichment runs before the event to sharpen targeting, during the event at the point of capture, and after the event to prioritize follow-up. Every record lands in your CRM scored, graded, and ready to work.

Your reps don't change a thing. They scan and keep talking. The engine fills in the record behind the scenes, so the lead is ready to sell to before the handshake is over.

1

Before the event

Enrich your target and registration lists so reps walk in knowing which accounts matter.

2

During the event

Every scan is completed in real time at the point of capture, with context and intent from the conversation.

Your data comes first

The record you already own anchors everything. Enrichment adds to your system of record rather than overwriting it.

No single source decides

Your systems, licensed partners, the 125+ network and AI agents all contribute to the same record. One source coming up empty never caps what you get back.

A living network

Providers are added, dropped, and re-ranked on live performance. A source returning bad data is demoted, not tolerated.

Confidence, not just coverage

Every appended address carries an email confidence level, so your team sees quality before a send, not after a bounce.

Clean on arrival

Automatic deduplication matches each record against what you already own, so your CRM never gets a second copy.

What comes back

Enrich any way you need

Four ways to turn thin data into pipeline.

Whatever shape your data is in, the same engine completes it, so every list, every record, and every CRM gets the profile depth your team needs to sell.

List enrichment

Enrich data in bulk. Upload a list and get back complete, current, routable records at scale, so a stalled database becomes a campaign you can run tomorrow.

Person and company enrichment

Fill the gaps at contact and account level: industry, revenue, size, and more. Reps know exactly who they're talking to before they ever reach out.

New

CRM enrichment with Intelligence Cards

Pull opportunity and account data from Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRMs into Intelligence Cards, then map it back to your own records. The intelligence your reps need lives right where they already work, no tab-switching, no stale exports.

Industry-specific premium data

Specialized sources for the verticals your clients sell into, so a scanned badge returns a record you can actually follow up on.

How we handle it

Enterprise-grade from capture to CRM.

Good data you cannot defend in a security review is not an asset. Captello's certifications are audited, not self-attested, and the controls are built into the product rather than left to the rep on the floor.

Processed on the device

Conversation Intelligence runs an on-device encrypted model and submits only on an explicit action by the user, with selectable data.

No third-party AI processors

Conversation data is not handed off to an outside AI service to be read, stored, or trained on.

Consent by design

Recording is consent-based, with the compliance design built into the product instead of resting on the rep in the aisle.

Secure offline capture

Capture continues without connectivity and syncs when it returns, so no record sits unprotected on a device waiting for the hall network.

Why Captello

An engine, not a single vendor feed.

Anyone can resell one data provider's list. Captello runs an engine, a living network, and AI agents, woven across the full lifecycle and into capture, follow-up, scoring, and attribution rather than bolted on afterward. The profile is there the moment your rep needs it, not days after the show, and it arrives with its confidence attached.

The same system of record carries the lead from the scan, through enrichment and follow-up, into scoring and attributed revenue. One data chain, one owner, no exports in the middle where records go stale and accountability disappears.

What you are partnering with

The data decisions, made in your favor.

Your record is the starting point, not a vendor's guess
Confidence on every email, so quality is visible before a send
Providers re-ranked on performance, not on a contract
Audited certifications, not security self-assessments
One system of record, from the scan to attributed revenue
And behind it, people who know events. When the floor is moving fast, world-class support answers, so your reps are never troubleshooting a record alone at the booth.
Where it fits

The data layer beneath everything you capture.

Data Enrichment sits under every capture solution, completing each record the moment it's captured. It powers Pre-Event Intelligence and feeds lead scoring, grading, and ROI attribution, so enriched data flows straight into your dashboards and your revenue story.

The proof

Built to hold up when revenue's on the line.

The scale and accuracy that turn a stack of scans into a pipeline you can attribute.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Where does the data come from, and how do you keep it accurate?
From the 5-Layer Enrichment Engine: your event and CRM data, your marketing automation, licensed data partners such as ZoomInfo and Apollo.io, the Captello Enrichment Network of 125+ providers, and Captello AI Agents. The network is live, not static. Providers are added, dropped, and re-ranked on performance, every appended address carries an email confidence level, records are deduplicated against what you already own, and the healthcare layer runs a monthly multi-step verification cycle. No record is ever reduced to a single vendor's feed. See the sourcing principles.
How do you handle PII and compliance?
Captello is SOC 2 Type II certified and ISO 27001 certified, and is GDPR compliant, with enterprise SSO supported. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 are audited certifications rather than self-assessments. Every appended email carries an email confidence level, so you know what you're sending before you send it.
What match rate can we expect?
Up to a 98% match rate. Because every record passes through all five layers and 125+ sources in sequence, each layer adding to the one before it, gaps one source leaves are filled by the next, and AI agents close whatever remains. Source: Captello, July 30, 2026
Does it work with our CRM?
Yes. Enriched records route straight into Salesforce, HubSpot, and more across 9,000+ CRM, marketing automation, and system integrations, mapped back to your own records with no manual export.
Do you have industry-specific data?
Yes. Specialized premium sources cover the verticals your clients sell into. See the Captello Healthcare Database for verified US provider data as one example.
Isn't enrichment just one part of the data?
Yes, and that's the point. Enrichment completes the identity and company-data layer. Captello also captures the conversation itself through on-device Conversation Intelligence, industry-specific data through vertical layers like the healthcare database, event and behavioral signals before, during, and after the show, and attributed revenue data through Revelation. All of it lands on the same record, in the same system. See all eight kinds of event data.
How is the match rate measured, and why "up to"?
Because a ceiling is an honest number and an average is not. Up to a 98% match rate is the ceiling observed across the five layers and the 125+ source network; what any single list returns depends on the quality of the input, the vertical, and the region. Captello publishes the ceiling, labels it as one, and returns an email confidence level on every appended address so you can see the quality of each record rather than trusting a headline percentage.
How should we evaluate a platform claiming a 99% match rate?
Ask what it measures. A find rate counts addresses returned; a verified rate counts addresses confirmed against a live mail system. Ask what share of appended emails is verified and what share is inferred from a company domain and an email naming pattern, ask for the methodology behind the percentage, and ask how many sources sit behind it. Independent 2026 benchmarks put single-provider coverage at roughly 40 to 65 percent of a list and a well-ordered multi-source waterfall at roughly 80 to 95 percent, which is why Captello runs 125+ sources rather than a short partner list.
How many data sources should an enrichment engine have?
Enough that no single provider's gap becomes your gap. Independent 2026 benchmarks put single-provider coverage at roughly 40 to 65 percent of a list, while a well-ordered multi-source waterfall reaches roughly 80 to 95 percent. Captello's Enrichment Network runs 125+ data sources, and every record passes through all of them in sequence rather than stopping at the first match, so each layer adds to what the last one found. A short partner list of around twenty providers is far less redundant than it sounds: fewer sources means more gaps, and a gap is a lead your reps cannot work. See how sources are called.
Does the number of badges scanned tell you anything about data quality?
No. Scan volume measures activity, not data. The questions that matter are what came back on the record, how much of it was verified rather than inferred, and whether it reached the CRM ready to work. For scale, Captello captured 195,947 leads at a single show and 7,110 leads for Caterpillar at ConExpo, with records enriched, scored, graded, and routed at the point of capture across 9,000+ CRM, marketing automation, and system integrations.
How is event pipeline measured, and how is that different from a projection?
A projection multiplies leads by an average contract value outside the platform. Attribution traces individual leads and meetings to opportunities inside it. Captello measures attribution in Revelation across a 90-day window: at EXHIBITORLIVE, $6,595,000 in pipeline revenue and $330,000 in forecasted revenue measured end to end, at $141.10 cost per lead and $13,323 revenue per lead. When Captello publishes a modeled figure rather than a measured one, it is labeled estimated and the methodology is shown alongside it.
Is SOC 2 Type II enough for an enterprise security review?
It is the starting point, not the finish. SOC 2 Type II tells you controls were audited over a period of time; it does not tell you the scope, or what else is covered. Captello is SOC 2 Type II certified and ISO 27001 certified and is GDPR compliant, with enterprise SSO supported. The useful question for any vendor is which security claims are audited certifications and which are self-assessments, and whether the report and certificate can be produced under NDA. See how data is handled.
How fast is enrichment, really?
Real time, at the point of capture, while the conversation is still happening. The number worth asking about is not the quoted response time but what it depends on: a cloud round trip is only as fast as the hall network that day. Captello captures offline and syncs when connectivity returns, and Conversation Intelligence runs on the device with no round trip at all, so the slowest part of the conversation is never the network. More on speed.
How much data can you actually pull on a record?
Captello has access to billions of data points across 125+ sources, covering global B2B, EMEA mobile coverage, healthcare, technographics, and intent signals. On a person, that means verified email with a confidence level, mobile phone matched at a market-leading 87%, title, seniority, role, department, location, and professional signals, plus the conversation context captured at the booth. On a company: up to 78 returnable fields covering industry, revenue band, employee size, locations, corporate structure, technographics, and intent. In healthcare, an NPI-anchored record with 436 fields per match. Billions of data points describes the signals available across the network, not a summed database size. See what comes back.
Where are booth conversations processed, and who handles consent?
On the device. Captello Conversation Intelligence runs an on-device model, so the conversation is processed in real time, offline, and encrypted, then submitted only on an explicit action by the user with selectable data. No conversation is sent to a third-party AI processor, recording is consent-based by design, and the output maps to the entire lead form and on into your CRM. For two-party-consent states, GDPR markets, healthcare, and financial services, ask any vendor where audio is processed, where it is retained, and who carries the consent obligation.
